Historically famous for its silk both in France and abroad, VERASETA’s history began in the early 20th century in the industrial city of Charlieu in France. The sound of the shuttle on the weaving looms was the heartbeat of this city that had been producing high-quality taffetas and failles de soies from the beginning of the 19^th century. Even today, VERASETA continues to weave high-quality silks and velvets according to the traditional French know-how in Charlieu.
