Founded in 1977, Danish textile designer Helene Blanche combined her passion and experience in textile design to establish timeless yet playful fabric and wallpaper collections. Her work reflects her roots; Scandinavian attention to detail and longevity. Preferring to work with charcoal, ink, and pencil to create exploratory designs, she brings a refined, artistic quality to each creation. Her collections use delicate fibres such as Italian silk, and Belgian linen and cotton, all produced by skilled craftsmen and mills across Europe. All wallpapers are crafted by English artisans who continue to use traditional 19th-century techniques. Drawing inspiration from Japanese minimalism, avant-garde joie de vivre, European Neoclassicism, cubist art, and vintage Parisian textile samples, Helene Blanche’s designs blend cultural tradition with decorative elegance and a modern sensibility.
