A CONSIDERED LOOK AT HOW PANTONE’S DEBATED CHOICE TRANSLATES TO MATERIAL, TEXTURE AND SPACE
White. Bold, unexpected, and yes—controversial. Pantone’s 2026 pick, Cloud Dancer, might seem simple at first glance, but in interiors, it’s anything but.
White is more than a backdrop—it’s a study in light, texture, and form. It allows materials to shine, spaces to breathe, and design details to take centre stage. From creamy, warm undertones to crisp, sculptural whites, it’s a colour that adapts, elevates, and endures.

For fabrics and wallpapers, Cloud Dancer presents intriguing possibilities. Textured linens, tactile velvets, subtle metallics, or embossed patterns take on new depth against a white palette. While some may question its boldness, exploring white in design is about understanding how it interacts with material, light, and pattern—offering a canvas for creativity rather than a statement in itself.

PARIS DÉCO-OFF
Each January, Paris becomes the quiet epicentre of global design. Paris Déco Off returns on the 14th, once again opening the doors of the city’s most esteemed textile and wallcovering showrooms for four days of inspiration and discovery.
Déco Off unfolds across Saint-Germain-des-Prés, Place Saint-Sulpice, Rue du Mail and Place des Victoires — a curated trail through the ateliers and salons shaping the next chapter of interior design. Collections are unveiled in the spaces where they were conceived, offering a rare glimpse into craft, process and material innovation.

For Boyac, Déco Off is where many of the stories behind the textiles we champion begin. This year, Eleonore and Susanna will be attending and would love to meet with clients and collaborators while in Paris.
