A NEW SHINING STAR FROM PARIS

Métaphores’ latest collection, Belle Étoile, draws inspiration from the sky and space, translating celestial references into a contemporary and functional range of textiles. The collection explores themes of movement, journeys and discovery, with each design informed by a natural, atmospheric observation.

Astrological influences are expressed through texture, structure, finish and pattern. The result is a collection that feels modern and refined. Belle Étoile carries a calm confidence —designed to sit comfortably in both minimalist and layered interiors.

The collection showcases a diverse range of techniques, from tapestry-style jacquards and structured weaves to chenilles and liquid-metal sheens. Each textile balances tactile interest with a polished finish, providing designers with a versatile and sophisticated toolkit for contemporary interiors.

A NEW CHAPTER IN SURFACE DESIGN

Iksel’s new coating finish marks a thoughtful evolution in wallcovering design—one that aligns material innovation with aesthetic integrity. Conceived as an alternative printing medium for all designs, this PVC-free surface offers a refined replacement to traditional Vinyl Coated Wallpaper (VCW), without compromising depth, colour saturation, or durability.

The finish has a softly tactile, almost textile-like presence that enhances the painterly quality of Iksel’s panoramics and custom motifs, allowing light to interact with the surface in a more nuanced, architectural way. Sustainable by design and quietly luxurious in appearance, it answers the growing demand from architects and interior designers for materials that are as responsible as they are visually compelling.
