98 YEARS OF PRECISION, ELEGANCE, AND CREATIVITY

In 1928, Félix Houlès and his son André opened their shop at 18 rue Saint-Nicolas in Paris, in the heart of the Faubourg Saint-Antoine, the historic birthplace of Parisian upholsterers and decorators.

In the 1930s, Suzanne and Pierre Houlès expanded the then-small French company internationally, before passing it on to their children.

Today, Philippe Houlès passionately continues this family tradition. Initially a wholesaler of upholstery supplies, Houlès soon specialised in the creation and curation of trimmings collections — a pioneering vision that propelled the house to become a global reference in French passementerie.

The expansion of our portfolio with Houlès brings a new expression of artistry, craftsmanship and refined design to BOYAC. This addition strengthens our commitment to presenting French artisanal craftsmanship that elevates interiors and inspires truly individual spaces.

Notably, Houlès creations adorn some of the most prestigious locations, from the Château de Versailles to the Palais de l’Élysée, including the Egmont Palace in Brussels. Houlès has continually reinvented the art of interior decoration, faithful to its heritage and firmly oriented toward the future.

New to the Thibaut portfolio, the sophisticated Clermont collection encapsulates the French provincial style popular in the 1700s, in a colour palette of blush, sage, reds and French blue. Indienne-inspired and drawn from the French rural countryside, Clermont is comprised of floral motifs, organic block prints, nature-inspired designs and a stunning mural. Complementary stripes, checks and embroidered textiles round out the collection.
